At Crossroads Area Management, we understand our current and incoming residents are among the most
vulnerable. You can be assured that the health and safety of your loved one is our primary concern
and that each of our facilities is going above and beyond to ensure a safe environment for our
residents.
As we all know, there is still a concern about the spread of COVID-19 and the
realization that the flu season is upon us, as well. We continue to implement the guidelines by The
Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in an attempt to help reduce these viruses from
entering our building.
CMS has now given us guidelines on visitation which also depends on the community
transmission rate. This rate determines the type of visits we can provide and, as a community, you
help to determine these rates. Masking and social distancing of at least six feet is recommended. We
ask that you stay in contact with the facility that is the home to your loved one for the current
guidance given to us by the Center for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS), CDC, La. Dept. of Health (LDH),
and the local office of Public Health. We also ask that if you are ill in any way to avoid in-person
visitation during this time and utilize contact through telephone, email, text, or social media. If
you are able to conduct an in-person visit, please follow the guidelines as set forth by the
facility.
Our facilities continue to follow the CDC recommendations including handwashing and hand
sanitizer hygiene as well as the recommendations on utilizing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
such as masks, gloves, gowns, etc. We stay up to date with the CDC recommendations as they are
revised as well as staying in close contact with our state and local entities and following the
guidance they give.
COVID-19 continues to be an evolving global situation that we will continue to monitor
and respond to proactively. We will continue to keep you up to date on the status of the facility in
which your loved one resides. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact our
Facility Administrator or Director of Nursing.
